Great opportunity: gas service engineer (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Indian River County, Florida. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Day-to-day duties: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
