Immediate opening: collision repair technician (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Carroll County, Illinois. The job is at a busy body shop. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines You will treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
