Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in McLean County, Kentucky. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
