Vacancy available: sheet metal press operator (Maryland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Cecil County, Maryland. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Part-time with flexible hours.
