Production line inspector • San Patricio County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production line inspector in San Patricio County, Texas. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
