Now hiring: we are hiring a chiller technician in Borough of Rochdale, England. Your main tasks: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
