Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Phillips County, Arkansas. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
