Steel erection rigger — Takai

Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Takai, Kano State. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
