Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Irepo, Oyo State. The role involves control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 5+ years on the tools preferred. ₦7,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
