Laundry presser wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Putnam County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
