We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Kane County, Illinois. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On a typical shift you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
