Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Yamhill County, Oregon. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Full-time with occasional weekends.
