Immediate opening: fusing press operator (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Hendricks County, Indiana. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
