You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred Your main tasks: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
