Pipe tig welder wanted in Modoc County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Modoc County, California. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
