Stamping press operator • Stutsman County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Stutsman County, North Dakota. You will be based on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
