Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Huerfano County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
