Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Clarke County, Alabama. You will work at a dry cleaner's. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Part-time with flexible hours. $2,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
