The role involves measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; clean condenser and evaporator coils; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system.
