Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Madera County, California. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience.
