You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Part-time with flexible hours.
