Now hiring: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Wythe County, Virginia. You will work at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
