Finishing presser — Walla Walla County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Walla Walla County, Washington. You will be based in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
