Commercial tyre fitter — Evangeline Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Requirements: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
