Join our team: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Giles County, Virginia. You will work at a wholesale meat market. The role involves monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 6+ years on the tools preferred.
