Lift erector wanted in City of Harrisonburg

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift erector in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You will work at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
