Aluminium technician • Jefferson County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Jefferson County, Illinois. You will work at an ACP cladding fabricator. Day-to-day duties: • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Full-time, day shift.
