CO2 welder wanted in Conecuh County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Conecuh County, Alabama. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
