Sand plant operator wanted in Marion County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Marion County, Florida. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
