Great opportunity: site safety steward (Kano State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Warawa, Kano State. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day to day you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Part-time with flexible hours.
