Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
