Sample machinist wanted in East Dunbartonshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Full-time, day shift.
