Plant operator — Hertfordshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Hertfordshire, England. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings You will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; check for underground cables and services before digging; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
