The role involves: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Overtime paid at a premium rate.
