Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
