Great opportunity: cake decorator (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cake decorator in Loudon County, Tennessee. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Score the top of loaves before baking Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
