On a typical shift you will replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
