MIG/MAG welder • Mahoning County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Mahoning County, Ohio. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
