Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Borough of Bury, England. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Day to day you will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £1,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
