Production line inspector — Dumfries and Galloway

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. You should have: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Your main tasks: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
