Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Clare County, Michigan. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
