Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
