MIG/MAG welder — Nobles County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Nobles County, Minnesota. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
