Garment presser wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Montgomery County, Maryland. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
