Hoist operator wanted in Chippewa County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Six days a week, one day off.
