We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Borough of Thurrock, England. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Pay around £2,550 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
