Brickwork mason wanted in Hawkins County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Hawkins County, Tennessee. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
