Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Dougherty County, Georgia. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
