Gas service engineer • Buckinghamshire, England

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Buckinghamshire, England. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply 5+ years on the tools preferred.
