Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Peoria County, Illinois. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Day-to-day duties: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
